Anneliese Nguyen is a junior at Clayton High School, and a dancer at Krupinski Academy. She has a founded interest in raising cultural awareness in the arts, and has helped with other events such as the May Book Project! Anneliese loves to read, dance, and write when there is time, and is excited to be working on this project!

Katherine Nguyen is a Junior at Clayton High School. As a long-time musician, she is excited to combine her passions for Asian American advocacy and the arts with The Very Asian Concert. Outside of AACS she works with TVAF, enjoys drinking boba, and plays the viola. One of her favorite Asian books is On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong. 

Yohann Lee is a Junior at Lafayette High School. He has enjoyed playing cello for 6 years and is very excited to raise awareness on Asian American culture at The Very Asian Concert with asian music and arts. Yohann enjoys playing racquetball, reading, eating, and building robots in his free time. His favorite Asian book is When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller.

Jerry Chang is a junior at John Burroughs School. He began playing the piano at the age of 4, and his passion for music has only grown since. He is excited to work on the Very Asian Concert and help celebrate Asian culture through the arts. Outside of piano, Jerry enjoys playing tennis, volunteering in his community, and spending time with friends.

Max Zeng is a junior at CHS with a passion for soccer, violin, and sharing Asian culture through music. One of his favorite Asian books is The Best We Could Do by Thi Bui. Max joined the concert planning team because he enjoys playing Asian music and felt that the community lacked enough events celebrating this vibrant culture. He is particularly fond of the violin and hopes this concert will inspire younger (or even older) audience members to try learning traditional instruments.
